Coaching
Sometimes you need a coach. Sometimes you just need someone to talk to.
You don't have to sign up for a long program to get help. Amy works with salon owners two ways. Choose a single focused session from 30-60 minutes when you need to solve one thing. Or, choose ongoing coaching if you want a steady partner as your business changes. Either way, you'll get a real conversation, not a sales pitch.
One-on-One with Amy
Have a specific problem, decision or question? Maybe you’re pricing a new service, dealing with a difficult employee, considering adding another chair, or facing something completely unexpected.
Book a session, talk it through with me, and I'll leave you with a clearer idea of what to do next.
No packages. No ongoing commitment. Just focused, practical help when you need it.
Amy in Your Corner
Sometimes one conversation isn’t enough. If you want someone who really gets to know your salon, your team, your challenges and where you’re trying to go, ongoing coaching gives us the chance to work through it together over time.
We’ll meet regularly to tackle whatever is happening in your business, from staffing and pricing to profitability, growth, culture and the problems nobody saw coming. You won’t have to start from scratch every time. I’ll know the backstory, remember what we talked about and help keep you moving forward.
Think of it as having an experienced salon owner in your corner. Someone who knows your business and is there to help you figure out what comes next.
Your coaching doesn’t end when the call does.
All Amy in Your Corner plans include business-hours text access to Amy between sessions.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need a big problem to book a session?
No. Some owners come with one specific question; others just want to think out loud with someone who's run a salon. Either is a good reason to book.
Is this a long-term commitment?
Not unless you want it to be. You can book a single 30 or 60 minute session whenever you need one. If you want ongoing support, Amy in Your Corner is month-to-month and you can cancel anytime.
Do I need to prepare anything before a session?
No homework required. Just come ready to talk about what's going on. If there are numbers, documents or other information that would be helpful for me to see, you're welcome to send them ahead of time.
Are sessions in person or virtual?
Coaching sessions are virtual by video conference, so we can work together wherever you are. You'll receive the details you need after booking.
What if I'm not sure whether I need one-time or ongoing coaching?
Start with a one-time session. There's no need to commit to ongoing coaching before we've even talked. If it becomes clear that having me in your corner on a regular basis would be useful, we can talk about that then.
What can we talk about?
Almost anything that comes with owning a salon: pricing, profitability, payroll, employees, compensation, leadership, client retention, marketing, systems, growth, expansion, burnout, preparing for an eventual sale, or simply a decision you're stuck on.
What's different about ongoing coaching?
With Amy in Your Corner, I get to know you and your business over time. You'll have a set amount of private coaching time each month, plus you can text me during business hours when questions or situations come up between sessions.
Can I text Amy between sessions?
If you're an Amy in Your Corner client, yes. Business hour text access is included with your monthly coaching plan for quick questions, advice and second opinions. One-time coaching sessions don't include text access.
What if I'm not ready to book yet?
That's completely fine. Send me a message and tell me a little about what's going on. We can start there.
